MAME 0.108u5 released

There seems to be a bug in the process of compiling this one. The ui part gives me an error. I didn't have to bother though, since the fellow guys at our forum were fast and efficient... ;) Here's a part of 'what's new' file:

MAME 0.108u4 released

It was rather normal to have a new intermediate update release after all these days. There's a core update too so if you come up with any problems you should report them to MAME Testers. The latest update adds the following:

To Mac or Not to Mac?

Let me say this straight. I strongly believe that Vista will be a disaster afaic the sales part. OK; I know there's a HUGE network that distributes the pack, also as hundreds of companies that support M$ for years now (currently by sticking a marker 'Vista Ready' on their products); BUT...People need a change!

Admit it. You're facing the same environment for about, how long, ten? twelve years? It's natural people! It's getting boring. I know there are thousands of billions of apps out there, but who needs them all? Do you use more than 20-30 programs on your computer? I seriously doubt it.

Besides, having the luck to get my hands onto a Vista RC1 PC yesterday, I can describe it as a *bit* of a lowdown afaic the speed opposed to the previous XP environment. On the contrary, when the same machine was loaded with OSX, it reminded me the days of glory having Win98 installed on a P4 machine with 1GB of RAM... You just couldn't catch the window opening up when you clicked the mouse button!

"OSX on a PC? How did you do it?" I hear you saying. Well, there's a very comprehensive guide over here. Please do the favor to yourselves and get into it. I know there's a bunch of reasons NOT to, but if you like hacking into something new, just GO for it. You'll probably end up wondering why are you still using windows...

...on the other hand, you may not... ;)

There were some issues with the university server that lasted till yesterday. Hopefully, the machine won't produce any more errors and this site will continue to be online...
