Linux In A box part 2
I finally installed into my notebook's HDD the Greek Knoppix version. I
must say I am very impressed. Almost everything is in Greek and you can do
everything you could imagine in no time!. The man behind it,
Nikos Nyktaris
reported a debian installation file that adds Greek support to Mozilla
Browser. Read all about it
here.

MAME WiP
A *HUGE* MAME WiP is online

see (Hint: call me Yoshimitsu) ;-)

Linux In A box
I have started some time now, messing up a bit with a great Greek effort.
Nikos Nyktaris has done a great job so far on translating a pretty good
distribution of Live Linux (Linux running off a bootable CD that is), called
'Greek Knoppix CD'. More variations of Knoppix, are available
here.
Great job Nick! Keep up the good work (We are expecting a Greek version of
Knoppix 3.3 soon!) ;-)

Happy Birthday Gameland!
Yesterday www.gameland.gr has turned
five years old. :) We'd like to thank all you emulation fans for your
presence here and your great support.
This page is going to serve the emulation community for the years to come
even though the emulation itself, turned from history to present. (I'm sure
most of you know what I mean) ;-)
Welp, news are that contact info is updated at the column on the left of
this page, a couple of emails (including mine) are changed, so be sure you
fill properly the rest of the automated script at the 'to:' line of your
email client if you want to make sure that we are going to receive what you
just sent.

After long time, PinMAME, PinaMAME32 and Visual PinMAME updated to
version 1.30 adding the following news:
- This update pretty much includes *all major* pinball manufacturers in a
more or less playable state!
- With Alvin G. and Capcom games now working, we've reached a major
milestone!!
- Of course a lot of games are still unaccounted for, especially some of
those little-known Italian or Spanish manufacturers, or Universal of Japan,
or LTD from Brazil, or ... you get the point, right? ;)
- Unfortunately, Gottlieb's System80A game series are now broken; the games
are booting up OK, but will stall upon game start. We're working on a
solution right now, yet we decided to go ahead with the release and leave
this as a "known issue" for now.
- Sorry for the inconvenience, but we're sure you will love this latest
release!
