MAME updates v.0.95u3, u4 & u5

I am 100% sure that most of you know by now that the u3 and 4 are out but I found out about u5 just 2 hrs ago, so this must be real news ;)... Chances are that you have experienced the 'Press OK' bug which the u4 used to have, but that is now corrected (hopefully once my compiling isn't done yet) :P...
Anyway. The files are not located @ Haze's site (which is being updated twice a day nowadays due to the Konami decryption progress and rather worth's a click if you ask me...) but at the new mamedev's home that can be found here.

Several changes on MAMETM

During the last couple of weeks several things were altered afaic the MAMETM dev team. At first (and most importantly imho) Haze has handed over the reins of the MAMETM project to Aaron Giles. That doesn't mean that Haze won't develop any more game-drivers, but as the coordinator of the project from now on is Aaron this may affect the frequent "u" updates we were used to...

A Dev's new home!

A new home for the MAMETM devteam is now on beta stage. This can be found here and it's supposed to contain all the latest info concerning the development stages of our favorite emulator, PLUS the latest legal info about the MAMETM trademark...

MAME 0.95u2

More u's for you! Haze released the u2 update which you may apply to the previous u1 one. If you have previously applied the broken Sega24 video hardware driver then just push 2 times 'n' while updating. Beware! A fresh compile is essential...

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Up Your Alley [Aaron Giles]
Dr. Tomy [Pierpaolo Prazzoli]
Snapper [Aaron Giles, Simon White]
Pocket Gal Deluxe (bootleg) [David Haywood]

DD. Crew (Japan, 2 Player) [Chack'n]
Aurail (Japan) [Chack'n]

Comad World Beach Ball Championship 1997 (skeleton driver)
Monster World (different memory map etc. to speed spin)
Peno Cup (maybe wrong title, corrupt rom data)

Panic Road [Tomasz Slanina] (encrypted gfx, like mustache boy?)

D.D Crew (3 Player, World) [Chris Hardy] (hangs when you select character, needs investigation)

May the source be with you! (If not, click here...)

MAME 0.95u1 & Sega Hotfix

Haze has released the u1 update to the MAME main core on April's fools day. The joke seems to be the broken Sega24 video hardware driver so if you're experiencing random crashes download and recompile plz kthx... ;)

New Games / Clones supported or promoted from GAME_NOT_WORKING status:
--------------------------------------------------------------

Crackdown [Charles MacDonald, David Haywood] (some graphical problems)
Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (Megaplay) [David Haywood] (some problems due to bad genesis emulation)
Photo Y2k [Olivier Galibert, ElSemi]

Mahjong Channel Zoom In [Angelo Salese]
Mahjong Kakumei [Angelo Salese]
Mahjong Kakumei 2 - Princess League [Angelo Salese]
Idol Janshi Su-Chi-Pie Special [Angelo Salese]

clones
------

Pinball Action (set 3, encrypted) [Nicola Salmoria]

Tekken 3 (TET2/VER.A) [smf]
Ehrgeiz (EG2/VER.A) [smf]
Soul Edge Ver. II (SO3/VER.C) [smf]

Red Hawk (bootleg) [tirino73, David Haywood]
(this suffers from the same problems as the original, I'm not convinced that it really is
protection as the boards are very simple, needs investigation)

Retrieve your sources @ Haze's Lair over here.
